Trump Gold Coin Release Date

Despite a legal challenge earlier this year, the President Donald Trump 24-karat gold proof $250 coins will be available for purchase on the U.S. Mint’s website on November 5. 

Released to celebrate the U.S. semiquincentennial, the obverse of the gold $250 coin features a forward-facing close-up portrait of President Trump with the dual date 1776-2026 and the legend LIBERTY around the rim. The reverse depicts the Presidential Seal, with the numerals 250 added to the shield on the eagle’s breast. The inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA • 250 DOLLARS surrounds the design.

The U.S. Mint has yet to confirm a mintage or price for the release, but orders will be limited to one per household.
