The U.S. Mint reached over $1 billion in sales in fiscal year 2026, which ended September 30. According to the Treasury Department, a year-long series of 250th anniversary releases, along with “strong demand for the President Donald J. Trump $1 coin,” allowed mint revenue to double from $490 million in 2025.

“Last year, I challenged the U.S. Mint team to think bigger, work harder, and more than double their annual sales from roughly $500 million to over $1 billion,” U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach wrote in a social media post. “I am incredibly proud to announce that they DELIVERED!”

This marks the highest sales revenue U.S. Mint products have generated in more than 20 years.
