What will undoubtedly become one of the most widely popular U.S. Mint products of 2026 will be released in early October: the 2026 proof set. It contains proof examples of the dual-dated 1776-2026 semiquincentennial coins, as well as the 2026 Native American dollar. The proof set will surely be a good addition to many U.S. coin collections. It is also likely to see a secondary market as a special memento for honoring birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and other joyous occasions.

The 2026 Proof Set

The 2026 U.S. proof set includes the following 10 coins:

  • 2026 Lincoln cent: Only obtainable via U.S. Mint collector products
  • 2026 Jefferson nickel: Showcases the typical Jefferson nickel obverse and reverse with dual date on the obverse
  • 2026 Emerging Liberty dime: A one-year-only design depicting a determined Miss Liberty on the obverse and a fierce eagle on the reverse
  • 2026 Mayflower Compact quarter: Honors the agreement among the early settlers to establish majority rule
  • 2026 Revolutionary War quarter: Remembers George Washington as the Revolutionary War general who led the fight to gain independence from British rule
  • 2026 Declaration of Independence quarter: Recognizes America’s landmark founding document, crafted by Thomas Jefferson along with several other Founding Fathers
  • 2026 U.S. Constitution quarter: Highlights James Madison’s Bill of Rights, which guarantees basic freedoms to Americans
  • 2026 Gettysburg Address quarter: Features Abraham Lincoln’s proclamation of equality and democracy during the height of the Civil War
  • 2026 Enduring Liberty half dollar: Depicts the Statue of Liberty as a promise for tomorrow and a beacon of hope amid changing times
  • 2026 Native American dollar: Pays homage to the Oneida people and Polly Cooper, who provided corn, medical aid, and comfort to Washington’s troops in the Revolutionary War

The San Francisco Mint struck the coins in the 2026 proof set, which carry an “S” mintmark. The U.S. Mint is working with a relatively small maximum production run of 480,000 sets for 2026. Yet, there are no household ordering limits. The set will be available on October 6 at noon EST for $107.
