This week’s headlines include a CCAC appointee, a Bank of England exhibit, and the newest release in the U.S. Mint’s Constitution Platinum Proof Coin Series.

Annelisa J. Purdie has been appointed to the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) as one of three members who will represent the interests of the general public.

A new exhibit, “The Future of Money,” will open on February 28 at the Bank of England Museum in London. Admission is free and it will run through September 2025.

The fourth coin in the U.S. Mint’s five-year First Amendment to the United States Constitution Platinum Proof Coin Series celebrates the five freedoms enumerated in the First Amendment.

European auction house Künker held its 400th auction at the World Money Fair in Berlin. Its 770 lots of numismatic rarities realized 10.9 million euros.
