Team USA American Eagles

On August 6, U.S. athletes who competed in the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were honored with silver American Eagles carrying a TEAM USA privy mark. U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach revealed the coins in a social media post, describing them as a tribute to the athletes and the craftsmanship of the U.S. Mint. Beach did not disclose production details, such as finish, mintmark, or mintage.

Although the Team USA privy mark American Eagles are not available for purchase, collectors can still buy the proof 2026 silver American Eagle collector coins on the U.S. Mint’s website. In honor of the United States semiquincentennial, the 2026 versions include the dual date 1776-2026 and a Liberty Bell 250 privy mark.
