World Cup Champions

In celebration of Spain’s men’s soccer team winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Spanish Royal Mint will issue a €5 silver coin.

The reverse prominently features the World Cup trophy in gold. The colors of the Spanish flag appear at right, with a yellow star above and a second star to the left. Above the design is the FIFA World Cup 26 logo, and the inscription CAMPEONES DEL MUNDO (“world champions”) is at the bottom. The obverse features King Felipe VI’s left-facing portrait, with the legend FELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑA at the top and 2026 below. A beaded border encircles the design.

The .925-fine World Cup silver coin has a mintage of 50,000 and will be available soon through the Spanish Royal Mint’s online store or its official distributors.
