DLRC Auctions is auctioning the TropicalBats PCGS Lincoln Cent Registry Set in two consecutive Red Carpet Rarities sales, now live and closing April 16 and 23. Offered with no reserve, this extraordinary collection currently ranks No. 5 All-Time Finest on the PCGS Registry and features a 97.6-percent complete Lincoln cent variety set. Comprising 586 coins, it includes both circulation and proof issues across a wide range of grades and color designations, with many rare varieties seldom seen at auction.

Beyond its numismatic importance, the collection serves a philanthropic mission. Consignor Keith Christenson, a graduate of Penn State University, will donate all proceeds to establish an endowed scholarship supporting future wildlife biology students. Inspired by his own academic journey, Christenson sees this auction “as an exciting end to my collecting goal and an opportunity to advance the future of many Penn State students.” Named “TropicalBats” to reflect his career studying bats, the collection unites passion and purpose—offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire exceptional coins while contributing to education and scientific advancement.
