Stack’s Bowers Galleries has launched Stack’s Marketplace, an online e-commerce website. It provides collectors with a secure, end-to-end solution for buying, selling, organizing, and tracking a wide selection of certified coins and bank notes.

On Stack’s Marketplace, a team of numismatic experts review every seller and listing to ensure fair and accurate pricing before the items are made available. A Stack’s Bowers Galleries expert also independently verifies each transaction, ensuring that buyers receive the exact item purchased. “Many online marketplaces today are riddled with problem listings—ranging from counterfeit items to unrealistic and unfair asking prices—while both buyers and sellers are often exposed to unnecessary counterparty risk,” says Brian Kendrella, president of Stack’s Bowers Galleries. “We built the Stack’s Marketplace to directly address these challenges.”

At launch, more than 450 screened rarities were available for purchase, valued at over $3 million, including the Fairmont Collection 1875 Liberty half eagle (gold $5) and a near-gem 1640 Bavaria 5 ducats. New inventory is added daily.

In conjunction with the Stack’s Marketplace launch, the auction firm also introduced Collection Management to help clients organize and track their coin and paper-money collections on a secure, centralized platform. The tool allows collectors to import purchases, as well as property stored in the Stack’s Bowers Galleries Vault. Additionally, collectors can upload their entire collection via a CSV file.
