The Numismatist Receives APEX Award for Excellence

The Numismatist, the official magazine of the American Numismatic Association, has been recognized with an APEX Award for Publication Excellence, an honor presented annually to outstanding publications, communications teams, and writers across the country.

According to the APEX Awards program, this year’s competition attracted approximately 1,000 entries from organizations, businesses, nonprofits, and publications from all 50 states. APEX winners are chosen based on the quality, effectiveness, and creativity of their publications and projects. Following review by a panel of judges, The Numismatist was selected as an award winner for its excellence in publishing.

The Numismatist

First printed in 1888, The Numismatist has served as the ANA’s flagship publication and predates the founding of the Association. For nearly 140 years, the magazine has served as the organization’s chief member benefit. It provides readers with scholarly research, feature articles, hobby news, historical insights, and educational resources covering all aspects of numismatics. Recognition from the APEX Awards reflects the continued dedication of the magazine’s editors, writers, designers, and contributors to producing a publication that informs and inspires collectors.
