Stack’s Bowers Galleries Comes to San Francisco

Stack’s Bowers Galleries, the nation’s oldest and largest numismatic auction house, has opened a new gallery and showroom. This location features rare coins and precious-metals in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District. Located at 333 Pine Street, the new gallery brings Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ full range of numismatic services to the West Coast. 

Collectors can sell coins and paper money for top market value, browse an extensive selection of inventory available for direct purchase, and consign to the firm’s world-class auctions. Dealers gain access to the wholesale trading department to buy and sell, and with gold and silver prices near record highs, the gallery will also serve as a local resource for bullion trading and appraisals.

In its first months of operation, the San Francisco gallery will be staffed by a team of numismatists drawn from Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ other locations across the country.
