Stack’s Acquires Long Beach Expo

Stack’s Bowers Galleries has acquired the Long Beach Expo from Collectors Universe, Inc. For more than six decades, the Long Beach Expo has been a popular West Coast destination for collectors and dealers, offering opportunities for buying, selling, education, and camaraderie.

Stack’s Bowers President Brian Kendrella emphasized the firm’s commitment to preserving and enhancing this long-running event, stating, “We are proud to support a show that has played such an important role in numismatics, and we look forward to strengthening its future, beginning with our first Expo in February 2026.” The first show under the new ownership will be a smaller event held in Hall C of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. It will be open to attendees February 18-20, with dealer setup on February 17.

As a platinum sponsor of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG), Stack’s Bowers Galleries will extend special benefits to PNG members, including discounted and priority table options. Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) will remain a key supporter and serve as the show’s official grading service, and PCGS Collectors Club members will receive free admission.
