Silver Crayons Debut at the World’s Fair of Money

Kevin Lipton Rare Coins and Crayola have unveiled a new collectible series that transforms the iconic crayon into a precious-metal keepsake. The Crayola Precious Metals Crayons Collection debuted at the ANA’s World’s Fair of Money in Pittsburgh on August 25. Each crayon is crafted from 1.5 troy ounces of .999-fine silver and faithfully reproduces the dimensions and appearance of an authentic Crayola crayon.

The inaugural release is the Blue Crayon, the first in a planned multiyear program that will feature standard colors, popular shades, limited releases, and specialty editions. Collectors will be able to build complete color sets as additional crayons are introduced.

The Blue Crayon is available now at the World’s Fair of Money through Kevin Lipton Rare Coins, with broader authorized distribution planned. Each collectible comes in Crayola-branded packaging.
