Stack’s Bowers Galleries will present its June 2025 Showcase Auction as an Official Auction of the Whitman Expos, running June 24-27. The sale spans five sessions and features a wide array of rare U.S. coins, tokens, medals, and physical cryptocurrency.

A highlight is the Claremont Collection of John Adams Bolen medals, including a near gem Pioneer Baseball Club medal and over 125 additional Bolen pieces—some from Bolen’s personal holdings. The auction also features the Ed Kuszmar Columbian Exposition Collection, the NorthEast Collection of Bust quarters, and Professional Coin Grading Service registry sets like the Dodger Morgan Dollar Set and DJRaffel 1940s mint sets.

Notable coins include a richly toned 1795 Draped Bust dollar, an 1877 Indian cent graded Mint State (MS)-65 RB, and a 1795 half eagle in Mint State. Other standout lots span Indian Head cents, Morgan and Peace dollars, and Liberty Head gold.

“This sale continues our tradition of showcasing collections built by serious collectors,” says Brian Kendrella, Stack’s Bowers president.

The auction will be held at the firm’s Costa Mesa studio and online at StacksBowers.com.
