Scouts at the National Money Show
Scouts have the chance to discover a new hobby at the ANA’s 2025 National Money Show® in Atlanta, Georgia, February 27-March 1. Not only can scouts come to the show to view millions of dollars in rare and fascinating coins, but they can also attend the Young Collectors Corner on Saturday, March 1, for free. By attending the program, scouts can earn their “Fun With Money” patch or Coin Collecting Merit Badge. All scouts and scout leaders are encouraged (but not required) to wear their uniforms.
The three-hour event introduces coin collecting to youth ages 5-17. Attendees will learn about the basics of the hobby, including coin identification, coin and bank-note production, and ANA Young Numismatist programs. Kids can win prizes including coins, paper money, and more. The program will run from 9 to 11 a.m., with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and available online. Admission to the National Money Show costs $10 for nonmembers and is free for ANA members and children under 12.
