Santa’s workshop—that magical place at the North Pole where the joy of giving permeates the air—is brought to life on a new coin from the Perth Mint. Crafted from two ounces of .9999-fine silver, the coin’s beautiful design captures the hustle and bustle of the workshop in intricate detail. Around the rim on the reverse, hard-working elves are preparing the season’s gifts, and Santa can be found busily checking his list. Certain elements, such as the wreath bows, hat brims, and reindeer’s bridle, have been antiqued, adding dimension to the scene. The obverse bears Dan Thorne’s effigy of King Charles III and a festive pattern of stars. To top it all off, dangling in the coin’s center is a 24-karat gold-plated charm of a Christmas tree with colorful Swarovski crystals as ornaments.

Measuring 45.6mm in diameter and 6.5mm thick, the coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Mintage is limited to 2,500, and each piece is gift-wrapped and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity. Visit the Perth Mint’s website to order.
