The Monnaie de Paris has released four designs in three denominations each to mark the final year of its Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Sports Series, which launched in 2021. These new releases pay homage to fencing, handball, pole vaulting, and para-athletics, respectively. Each obverse motif renders the athletes dynamically, showing outlines of their movements to give the appearance of motion. An inscription of the sport’s name in French is incorporated creatively into the design of each piece.

The common reverse presents an aerial view of Paris in which the Seine appears to be an athletic track. (This reverse is shared with the mint’s Heritage Collection, another official product of the Olympic Games.) Each design is available as a bronze 1⁄4 euro, silver 10 euro, and gold 50 euro. Mintages are limited.
