Contemporary British artist Dion Kitson designed a series of bank notes that pay homage to musician Ozzy Osbourne, who died last month. The notes depict the heavy metal legend in place of King Charles, and the various vignettes portray Osbourne at multiple stages in his life.

Kitson immersed himself in the artistic process, giving up sleep for three days to create his numismatic tributes to the Prince of Darkness. His highly detailed, thoughtfully crafted notes are available in £5, £10, £20, and £50. Kitson hand-cut 1,000 of each denomination, and all the notes have already sold out from his website. He will donate 30 percent of the proceeds to Parkinson’s UK in honor of Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019.
