NumisMaster is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Starck to its esteemed team as a market analyst. Starck assumes this role following the retirement of Senior Market Analyst Thomas Michael. Michael’s expertise and leadership aren’t easily replaced, though the NumisMaster team expressed excitement about Starck’s enthusiasm and expertise.

With over three decades of involvement in the numismatic industry, Starck combines a profound understanding of the field with a solid foundation in journalism, having earned his degree from Webster University. In his new role, Starck will be responsible for entering and updating coin listings within the database; researching trends, pricing, and auction results; developing web and print content for Numismatic News publications; and contributing to the Coin of the Year awards.

Starck previously held the role of senior editor at Coin World. Additionally, he has co-authored two numismatic-related books, serves as a judge for Watermark Publishing’s annual “Coin Constellation Award,” and holds the distinction of being Life Member No. 100 of the Missouri Numismatic Society.

“I am excited to bring more than 30 years of hobby experience to this role and help collectors navigate the market for world coins, which are an increasingly important segment of the modern coin market,” says Starck regarding his appointment. “The team assembled at Active Interest Media does great work, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute.”
