This week’s headlines include U.S. Bitcoin reserves, John Mercanti’s archive, a YN’s successful business, and Thailand’s new polymer baht notes.

An anonymous Pennsylvania collector known as “Seven Lions” has donated $750,000 and hundreds of National Bank notes to the Higgins Museum of National Bank Notes in Okoboji, Iowa. The gift adds 700 National Bank notes to the museum’s 2,600-note collection.

Canada honors Indigenous artist Daphne Odjig on its latest $2 coin, which features her stylized artwork. Mintage of the 2025 $2 circulating piece is limited to 3 million, including 2 million colorized versions.
