This week’s headlines include a new children’s book, Tour de France commemoratives, a Canadian Raven coin, and U.S. Mint 2025 uncirculated coin sets.

Whitman Publishing has announced the upcoming release of Kids Love Coins!, a new picture book designed to introduce children to coin collecting. Aimed at young readers ages 3 and up, the 32-page book features rhyming verse by acclaimed author Charles Ghigna, known as “Father Goose.”

The Monnaie de Paris has released 10- and 50-euro commemorative coins to mark 50 years since the Tour de France first finished on the Champs-Élysées. The historic bike race has been held annually since 1903, and its final stage has ended in Paris since 1975.

The Royal Canadian Mint has released a limited-edition silver coin featuring a holographic raven. The coin honors the raven’s legendary role in Inuit culture through innovative hologram technology.

The United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set will be available for purchase starting July 17 at noon ET. The set contains two cards of 10 coins each, one from the Philadelphia Mint and one from the Denver Mint, for a total of 20 coins.
