Notable News (July 23-29, 2024)
This week’s headlines include a warning about coin scams, new issues from the Hungarian and Croatian Mints, and unfounded rumors about British coinage.

The latest release pictures a woman wearing a brightly colored skirt paired with pink socks, the region’s traditional costume.

However, a Treasury spokesperson says the decision was made because the number of coins in circulation is sufficient and it “has no current plans to change the mix of UK coins.”
