The Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society (EPNNES) is accepting applications for the 2024 Newman Grant program. Grants are awarded to those pursuing original research in American numismatics.

The Professional Numismatists Guild will provide a scholarship to a deserving young numismatist to attend the ANA’s 2024 Summer Seminar. Applications are due March 29.

A recent article in Mother Jones magazine suggests that the U.S. government indirectly facilitates criminal transactions by issuing large numbers of $100 bills, which are used in a wide range of illegal activities.
