The National Bank of Romania will issue a coppered tombac coin honoring the centennial of Marin Constantin, founder of the Madrigal Choir, Romania’s renowned national choral group. The legal-tender coins have a face value of 1 leu.

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) has welcomed longtime CoinWeek editor Charles Morgan as manager of numismatic research and programs, a newly created position focused on expanding PCGS CoinFacts and strengthening the company’s numismatic education initiatives.
