Citing the rising cost of materials and labor, the U.S. Mint will increase prices for numismatic clad products, effective January 2, 2025. The new prices reflect a 5-percent increase in rolls, bags, boxes of coins, and ornament products, and a 15-percent increase on all other clad products.

Lear Capital has announced the limited release of two 2025 The Lion and The Eagle coins: a quarter-ounce gold coin and a half-ounce silver coin. The series, which debuted in 2023, is a collaboration with the British Royal Mint and renowned former U.S. Mint engraver John Mercanti.
