NGC Grades ANA Show Pandas
After a one-year release hiatus, China’s ANA Show Pandas return to the World’s Fair of Money® (WFM), currently taking place in Rosemont (Chicago), Illinois (August 6-10). Available exclusively from GovMint, these popular commemoratives with one-year-only designs feature landmarks or elements of the WFM’s host city. They always sell out quickly.
GovMint is releasing official Show Pandas in 1-ounce gold, 50g silver, and 1-ounce silver proofs. The obverse mimics China Mint’s 1991 Silver Panda design to recognize the first year the WFM was held in Chicago following the launch of the series. This year marks the first time incuse strikes appear on both sides.
The 2024 Pandas have limited “lucky 8” mintages. (888, 1-ounce silver; 588, 50-gram silver; and 88, 1-ounce gold proofs).
Raw proofs are available at the WFM (Tables 113-115), and Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is grading these pieces on-site. Premium pieces, certified flawless by NGC, are also available. The assortment includes Proof (PF)-70 Ultra Cameo pieces with “First Releases” designations and PF-70 pieces with show-exclusive “First Day ANA” designations.
WFM attendees can get their hands on these pieces for a special show price by visiting Tables 113-115. Visit GovMint’s website or call 1-888-201-7096 to purchase after the show.
