Maple Tree of Life

In a spin on the classic tree of life motif, the Royal Canadian Mint has released a 5-ounce, .999-fine silver coin depicting a maple tree. The $50 piece features a large gold-plated maple tree set against a rugged, mountainous landscape. The year 2025 appears at right. The reimagined tree of life highlights Canada’s national tree and symbolizes connection, strength, and growth. 

Each coin includes a serialized certificate and is encapsulated in a black Royal Canadian Mint-branded clamshell. Mintage is limited to 1,750, and the piece is currently available on the Royal Canadian Mint’s website.
