The U.S. Mint has published a preliminary schedule detailing several of its products debuting in January 2026, offering images and prices ahead of full descriptions and technical specifications. This year will be notable for its array of special coinage designs celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Expected to be January’s most popular release, the dual-dated 1776–2026-W Proof American Silver Eagle from the West Point Mint (mintage 500,000) features the Liberty Bell “250” privy mark. Also returning is the annual Congratulations Set, which for 2026 includes a 2026-P Proof American Silver Eagle. Images of the Philadelphia-minted coin show it without a dual date or privy mark.

Another early-January release is the Iowa Innovation $1 coin, scheduled for January 6, bearing a “250” Liberty Bell privy mark above a gear motif. Meanwhile, the 2026 Native American dollar that will be released later in the month continues the series’ rotating reverse designs but does not include a privy mark.
