The U.S. Mint revealed the next two designs in its Comic Art Coin & Medal Program at the ANA’s World’s Fair of Money® being held this week in Oklahoma City.

Batman and Wonder Woman will join Superman, the first hero honored in the mint’s innovative program that bridges the worlds of coin collecting and pop culture. The new designs were created by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Joseph F. Menna, a globally recognized digital sculptor with over three decades of experience.

The obverse of the Batman piece shows the superhero leaping into action beneath a stone eagle, with “Liberty” shining above. On the reverse, he stands silhouetted against the Gotham skyline as the Bat-Signal blazes overhead—a tribute to his unwavering vigilance and heroic resolve in the face of darkness.

On the Wonder Woman obverse, the warrior clutches her shield and jumps into action with her Lasso of Truth, framed by flag-inspired stripes and the word “Liberty.” The reverse features the hero with three doves soaring above Earth, symbolizing her role as a global supporter of peace, justice, and equality.
