MyCollect, a free social media platform for numismatists, released a competitive online game in March. Players use high-quality images of coins to guess the grade of the pieces. By guessing correctly, they can earn a spot on the website’s leaderboard. Guess the Grade™  currently features 6,300 U.S. coins graded by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). The game is based on PCGS’s grading scale. Currently, over 500 dealers and collectors of all ages have played, placing more than 150,000 guesses combined.

“We believe that Guess the Grade™ will be a valuable tool for learning and enjoyment, fostering a new generation of collectors and enhancing the skills of established enthusiasts,” says Jack Fitch, the director of marketing for MyCollect. “We’re eager to see how this game will be embraced by the community and how it will evolve as a platform for education and entertainment in the fascinating world of coin collecting.”

Currently, over 500 dealers and collectors of all ages have played, placing more than 150,000 guesses combined.
