This October, Stack’s Bowers Galleries will hide $40,000 in prizes across four U.S. cities, with $10,000 waiting to be claimed in each one. The auction firm will hide certificates that can be redeemed for a numismatic prize. One certificate will be hidden every day for five days, so treasure hunters will have five chances to win in every city. The value of prizes range from $300 to over $3,500. Participating cities and treasure hunt dates are listed below:
