The Royal Mint has released the final issue in its four-coin Harry Potter Iconic Moments Collection. The piece celebrates the memorable scene in the third book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, when the boy wizard learns the Patronus Charm, a powerful defensive spell.

The reverse design, remastered by Royal Mint Product Designer Bella Briggs, features Harry Potter wielding his wand as a soul-sucking Dementor reaches toward him. Above the colorized scene, which mirrors the style of the books’ illustrations, is the legend EXPECTO PATRONUM.

The obverse bears King Charles III’s effigy. Mintage of the colored brilliant-uncirculated 50 pence is limited to 10,000. Silver proofs and gold proofs are also available. Visit the Royal Mint’s website to purchase.
