D.C. Memorialized on Tiffany Art’s Latest Coin
Tiffany Art has released the newest addition to its intricately designed collection of coins depicting prominent cities. The 3-ounce silver issue highlights Washington, D.C., in stunning detail.
The reverse depicts Washington, D.C.’s, original city map with polished streets, providing a contrast from the highly detailed infrastructure. The Potomac River and Anacostia River are crafted out of the signature Tiffany glass. Important buildings, such as the White House and the Capitol, are shown in ultra-high relief. The legend METROPOLIS / TIFFANY ART 2025 appears at the top. The obverse features the Arlington Memorial Bridge with the legend WASHINGTON / THE AMERICAN EXPERIENCE above. The seal of the issuing country, the Republic of Palau, appears below, along with the denomination ($20). The new release costs $489, and mintage is limited to 999. A 1kg silver version is available for $5,399, and both are available for preorder online from numerous sellers.
Tiffany Art launched in 2004 and has issued coins annually since 2007. The widespread success of the company’s five-time award-winning series has inspired numerous spin-off series. Previous releases include Seoul, South Korea (2024); London, England (2023); and Rome, Italy (2022).
