Two Republican lawmakers have introduced a bill that would place conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s likeness on a commemorative U.S. silver dollar.

Representatives Abe Hamadeh (R-Arizona) and August Pfluger (R-Texas) filed the legislation, H.R. 5580, last week. If passed, it would direct the U.S. Mint to produce 400,000 $1 coins honoring Kirk, founder of the youth-focused conservative group Turning Point USA.

The proposed coin would be minted in 2026 and feature Kirk’s image, along with the inscription: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” If approved, Kirk would become the youngest individual ever honored on U.S. currency.

The bill has been referred to the House Committee on Financial Services, and the future of the proposal remains uncertain with a divided Congress.
