Stack’s Bowers Galleries 2026 Professional Numismatist Program (PNP) takes place July 25-31. Taught by members of the Stack’s Bowers team, the program aims to provide practical tools for the next generation of young adult numismatists and help them build professional connections.

Jason Carter leads this year’s session alongside distinguished industry leaders including Greg Roberts, John Kraljevich, John Pack, Kyle Ponterio, and Peter Treglia. Students will explore topics such as advanced coin grading, wholesale trading and valuation, bullion trading, U.S. and world paper money, and the full auction process.

Professional Numismatist Program

Stack’s Bowers Galleries covers all expenses, including travel, lodging, meals, and entertainment for this once-in-a-lifetime program. Griffin Studios, located at the company’s global headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, plays host to the event. Paid positions and internship opportunities may be available immediately following completion of the program.

“The PNP program is an incredible experience that offers meaningful insight into the professional numismatic field through leading experts and hands-on experience, from grading coins to understanding the auction process itself,” says a PNP graduate. “Everyone involved was incredibly kind, eager to help, and shared a genuine passion for numismatics. The program’s customizable courses allow students to explore interests across the full spectrum of numismatics. I can confidently say I have grown considerably as a numismatist and developed a deeper passion for coin photography as a result. I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity and cannot recommend it highly enough to prospective applicants.”

Eligible applicants must be ages 18 to 25 at the time of the program. Applications are due May 1. For more information and to apply, visit Stack’s Bowers Galleries website.
