Bonanza Hoard

DLRC (formerly David Lawrence Rare Coins) is selling the Bonanza Hoard, a massive collection of roughly 8,000 coins that includes world coins from across continents and centuries, U.S. type coins in affordable grades, mountains of Morgan and Peace dollars, clutches of commemoratives, historical GSAs, and sample slabs. Running in sections over the next several months as a key Super Sunday Auction component, all of these offerings will close weekly on Sunday. All lots have no reserve with starting bids at $1. 

John Brush, president of DLRC, says, “We got a call regarding a large number of fresh coins that had been accumulating for years. The customer asked if we’d be willing to come get them. Thankfully, the trip was relatively drivable, so we responded immediately and made the trip. We expected 2,000-3,000 coins of all types, though when we arrived, it was clear that the estimate was closer to 8,000. It took a few hours to get everything packed up and there wasn’t any room left in our car once we got it all loaded up.” He continued, “We are glad that this gentleman contacted us and is trusting us to offer this fantastic collection. These coins will keep us busy for a while, and we are excited to offer them!”
