Rare Collectibles TV has released the first official Dr. Seuss 1-ounce gold coins. “Since his creation in 1957, The Grinch has captured hearts around the world through books, television, and film. Now, this timeless icon of Christmas spirit is available in one full ounce of gleaming .9999 fine gold, marking a historic first in the world of numismatics,” said Jack McNamara, cofounder of Rare Collectibles TV. “With gold recently reaching record highs and a mintage of only 99 coins, this is a once-in-a-lifetime, historic golden collectible that will shine in your family for generations to come.”

The .9999-fine gold commemoratives feature the titular character from the iconic Dr. Seuss book How the Grinch Stole Christmas on the obverse. The legend, E PLURIBUS FUN ‘EM, appears at right. The reverse depicts the house illustration from Dr. Seuss’s book Oh, The Places You’ll Go! with the words DR. SEUSS repeating in the background. Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) has graded each gold Grinch coin Mint State-70 and also encapsulated the pieces with a special Dr. Seuss insert label. Additionally, each commemorative will come with one of the first-struck 2025-dated silver Grinch coins.

The gold Grinch coins come one year after the release of Rare Collectibles TV’s popular 2025-dated silver Grinch coins. When the first 100 silver examples were struck last year, they were set aside to accompany these gold Grinch coins. The silver specimens are designated by PCGS as “1 of First 100 Struck.”

The gold Grinch coin is available for $6,995 or 3 payments of $2,331.67. Orders paid in full by November 15 will be shipped in time for the holidays. For additional information and to place an order, visit Rare Collectibles TV’s Dr. Seuss Coins website or call Rare Collectibles TV at 800-233-4145.
