The U.S. Mint is marking the nation’s 250th anniversary with a variety of circulating commemorative coins that are included in the 2026 Semiquincentennial Silver Proof Set, which will be offered for sale beginning at noon ET on June 11. The set includes 10 coins bearing proof finishes and carrying the San Francisco mintmark (S).

Among the pieces are the Enduring Liberty half dollar, Mayflower Compact quarter, Revolutionary War quarter, Declaration of Independence quarter, U.S. Constitution quarter, Gettysburg Address quarter, and Emerging Liberty dime, all struck in .999-fine silver. Also included are the 2026 Native American dollar honoring Polly Cooper and the Oneidas’ contributions during the American Revolutionary War, as well as the dual-dated 1776-2026 Jefferson nickel and Lincoln cent. The U.S. Mint notes on its website that while production of circulating Lincoln cents ceased in fall of 2025, “Going forward, our numismatic penny can be found in the following United States Mint’s annual products such as the Proof Set, Silver Proof Set and Uncirculated Set.”

The issue price for the 2026 Silver Proof Set is $245, a price point that reflects buoyant silver prices of around $70 per ounce as of this writing. Though the set has a stated mintage limit of 250,520, there is no product limit and a generous household ordering limit of 10. It can be purchased at the U.S. Mint’s website.
